    I've checked previous threads about the word oblivious, but they don't seem to help me with my sentence.

    Context: [...] a fact, to which I was oblivious.

    My attempt: ...um facto, o que estava esquecido.

    "...a fact, to which I was oblivious." = "...um fato[,] que me era desconhecido" or "um fato[,] que eu ignorava".

    The comma is probably unnecessary in Portuguese, but without seeing the whole passage I can't be positive.
