Hola a tod@s:
Hi Everybody!

I am translating into English a text about How to work on the curricular areas through writting

Texto/text.

Increasing children’s motivation showing their papers through contests, exhibitions or on the school’s Website. Inviting also students from other courses to comment on the works.

is it possible to translate "trabajos" into "papers2 in this context?

un saludo y gracias
Thanks & regards

Yeap, as long as they are activities involving writing.

spnichol, take into account an essay is always a paper but a paper is not always an essay. It could be, for instance, that the students have to show their short stories or any other kind of writing activity different than an essay.

True. You could also say "their written work".

Hi!

I think "papers" sound much more natural. And as we are talking about encouraging "writing skills"...it fixes perfectly..
