    Does anybody understand what "travessões arrombados" are and how they could form the galleries of a coal mine?

    22.24.7.1 A vazão de ar fresco em galerias de minas de carvão constituídas pelos últimos travessões arrombados deve ser de, no mínimo, duzentos e cinquenta metros cúbicos por minuto.

    The fresh air flow in coal mine galleries formed by the last "broken crossbeams"??? shall be at least 250 m2/minute.

    Wow! So... is it the 'undermining' phrase?

    Parece que travessões são galerias perpendiculares:

    Sometimes, it seemed to me, it is translated as 'travessas' (It makes sense, since 'travessão' comes from 'travessa' :) ) :
