Can someone please translate this for me, I am totallly lost!!
It's almost impossible to help you because you don't give any context. In which situation was this phrase used, by whom, to whom, in which country...
The only thing that springs to mind now would be that it could be a response to a congratulation ('May it happen to you too'), but it's difficult to tell what "machlan" could refer to.
