    I reckon that the words refer to drinks, ie kava chay = kava tea and raki which has to be brandy. Note the booth in the background appears to be some kind of drink stall.

    Kava is an intoxicating drink made from the root of a plant in the islands of the Pacific Ocean.

    Nope. Selyd's answer is completely correct. Kava (кава) = coffee; chai (чай) = tea; Raky (раки) = crayfish. You often see people selling crayfish from kiosks in Ukraine in the summer. They're the perfect accompaniment to beer, though I'm not sure I'd have them with coffee!
