Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I need to translate this sentence to English:

"Mi mamá compro un molino para moler el maíz para hacer arepas"

I'm confused becasue I don't know which verb and noun I should use: grind or mill.

    My try is

My mother bought a grinder (mill) to grind (mill) corn to make "arepas"

I probably would say "a grinder to grind corn." If you didn't want to use "grind[er]" twice you could say "a grinder to make cornmeal / flour / masa etc."
