    I'd like to know what the most appropriate translation would be for this phrase (en negrita) in the following text:

    Lo que yo necesito ahora es un relato escueto de los hechos, por el orden en que sucedieron éstos

    My attempt: "a concise/brief story/report of the facts/events" (you should choose the most appropriate words in each case)
    Here a definition:
    Escueto: adj. Sin adornos, sencillo, estricto; especialmente referido al lenguaje y al arte: instrucciones escuetas; escultura sobria y escueta.
