How would one pronounce "une chance sur deux", with respect to the -e of chance? I've been making the whole thing into a long S (chansur) but now I'm wondering if it should be chancE sur.

Thank you :) Are there any cases where the -e would be pronounced?

Classical theatre/poetry (with twelve syllable lines, or suchlike).

Otherwise, some people would accentuate the 'e' for emphasis, in the right context.
