    I've got one question

Can I use with the same meaning the words unfold and deploy in the next sentence?

"Althought the British Army deployed its nuclear weapons"
"Althought the British Army unfolded its nuclear weapons"

I'm trying to translate the verb "desplegar" into english

    thanks in advance

Although Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary defines deploy as "to unfold, to spread out" I have never heard unfold used in the context of your second sentence.
I would say "Althought the British Army deployed its nuclear weapons."
