Verbal agreement of "A or B"

    In Hebrew when you have "A or B"/"either A or B" as a subject is the verb/predicate adjective supposed to always agree with the nearest subject (as in English)? Is there an exception, such as for example, if A is 3ms and B is 3fs the verb must always be 3ms?
