Mis muy estimados foreros otra duda,

en el siguiente texto bancario no estoy segura de la traducción de "vested Through": PICs are typically used to hold individual funds and investments, and ownership can be vested through bearer shares or registered shares.

Vesting, in this context, typically refers to how ownership is held. In other words, how title to the property is held. So, for example, if a deed grants title to property to me and my wife, we would say that ownership is vested in me and my wife. If we buy stock together, but the shares are registered only in my name, we would say that the ownership of the shares is vested in me (even though my wife may have a right to half).

The original text seems a little strange to me, as a lawyer, since I would not normally say "ownership can be vested through bearer shares or registered shares" but I can see how someone who is not a lawyer (say, an ad writer for a bank) would not use words in this area as precisely as I would. I would probably omit the word "vested" here and just say that "ownership can be through bearer shares or registered shares."

If you want to stay as closely as possible to the original text, then based on my dictionary, I suggest a form of "hacer a algn titular de una propiedad" be used for "to vest ownership" in your sentence.

Let me know what you think. I'd like to see what you come up with.
