I would like to ask how do you say "vital signs'' in Russian?
"I will take your vital signs now'', the nurse said to the patient.
I know, that is when they check blood pressure, pulse, lungs, heart, ets. But what would be a simple phrase in Russian?

    Thank you in advance.

Though Rusita's translation is precise, I can't help noticing that, probably, no physician and no nurse would speak like that to a real patient. This translation fits the context of official reports and scientific researches. Unfortunately I cannot come up with anything simple, yet fully conveying the same meaning as "vital signs" in the context of physical examination of the patient...

I suppose there is no ''simple'' equivalent. The phrase that would sound natural in the given context would be

«Я сейчас вас осмотрю», — сказала пациенту медсестра.

    "я вас осмотрю"
"я возьму ваши показатели" - rather formal.
