What if you didn't receive XX

    Bonjour,

    Just wondering how to express the above idea in French:

    English example: What if you didn't get the cheque in time?

    French: Que faire si vous ne recevez pas le chèque à temps?

    Would it be more correct to say: Que se passerait-il?

    In a FAQ context, Que faire si vous ne recevez pas le chèque à temps/dans les délais
    is perfect.

    Merci jetset,

    If it is in the context of a question that you are asking somebody, not in a FAQ context, would "Que se passerait-il..." be better?

    yes, Que se passerait-il si ... is perfectly correct ;)
