    I was at my aunt's house. She cooked a dish which I had not eaten before. She asked, ' how is the dish'.
    I replied,' Aunty it's delicious. I did not have this taste before'.
    I just wanted to know about the reply. What to say when you are eating something and it's taste like that you have not have before?
    Few sentences, I've created myself are;
    It's delicious. I have not had this taste before'.
    It's delicious. I did not have this taste before'.
    It's delicious. I have not have this taste before'.
    It's delicious. I have not got this taste before'.
    It's delicious. I had not got this taste before'.

    We do not talk about having a taste in this context. I would say "I've never tasted anything like this before."

    Hello,
    I am not a native speaker, but I think you could say "It is delicious! I have never tried it before".

    You might say the taste is unfamiliar to you.
