    Hello everybody

I would like the correct form of writing the date in a formal invitation to a business meeting.

Is it correct to write it that way:

''on Thurseday the 13th of March, 2008''?

It looks ok to me, Heba, but note that expressions of dates vary from country to country and there are many, many threads on the subject here.

There is no "e" in Thursday, and there should be a comma after that word:

On Thursday, the 13th of March, 2008.

Most of the business world opts for less clutter. I would simply write:

    on Thursday 13 March
on Thursday 13 March 2008 [only if the year is especially important]

However, many businesses will have their own stylistic guidelines, aka 'house style'.
