    Buenas tardes a todos, por favor necesito que alguien me eche una mano.
    Como se diria en ingles esa frase. Sobre todo "fui a buscar"
    Gracias por vuestra ayuda.

    Gracias por vuestras observaciones, pero que seria lo correcto o vale cualquiera de estas formas:
    I went to look for
    I went to find my
    I went to pick up (esta era mi opcion)

    Yeah, no problem. I thought to pick someone up in Spanish was "pasar a buscarle" or recoger. I think that's why "to pick up" wasn't among any of the previous suggestions because that idea wasn't reflected in the original Spanish sentence.
