Can I say "you are very much welcome" in response to thank you?
Thank you very much
Hi Pulau, no, you should say, "You are welcome" or "You are very welcome".
Thank you, quirrelbee.
But is "welcome" an adjective or a past participle?
Are you thinking?
What's your answer to my question?
Welcome in this case is an adjective.
The past participle would be welcomed.
She was welcomed with open arms into the study group.
Thank you, airportzombie.
I get it. welcome - welcomed (welcame?) - welcomed (welcome?)
I compare it to the word come - came - come
Separate names with a comma.
