    Can I say "you are very much welcome" in response to thank you?

    Hi Pulau, no, you should say, "You are welcome" or "You are very welcome".

    Welcome in this case is an adjective.

    The past participle would be welcomed.
    She was welcomed with open arms into the study group.

    I get it. welcome - welcomed (welcame?) - welcomed (welcome?)

    I compare it to the word come - came - come
