"You freaking loser!" "<I love you too.>"

    Here's the scenario:

    person 1: teasingly disses person 2
    person 2: says something like "you freaking loser!"
    person 1: "i love u too"
    what does the part "i love u too" mean?

    It's an ironical response aimed at humorously dealing with the impolite comment from person two. It is most likely sarcastic, if the person is genuinely annoyed, or simply spoken in a jestful tone, if this is merely banter between friends.

    I agree that it's a sarcastic response to what was interpreted as an offensive remark!
