Hello!

Could anyone please decipher this mysterious phrase to me? It is a description of an energy saving scheme (http://www.britishgas.co.uk/products-and-services/energy/our-products/onlinesaver.html). I understand the second part but for the one in bold I have no clue. Thanks!

£150 savings include: £20 per fuel (inc VAT) signup credit payable at month thirteen; and a £110 saving through an assumed 12% reduction in consumption

    I think it means

Your 13th monthly fuel bill will be reduced by £40 - £20 for gas and £20 for electricity.

So you will make a saving, but only in a year's time. I don't know what a 'signup' credit is.

I see, that makes sense. "Signup credit" might mean this extra money you get by signing up to the scheme.

    Thanks a lot, Szkot!
