    Hello,

There is a book titled, ¿Quién se robó los colores? by Alister R. Márquez, and I am just confused as to why he used "se". Robar is transitive, and the "se" is not passive. I have seen the post, "robar vs robarse," and understand that this is very colloquial. However, is it grammatically correct?

    Thanks!

    Hello.
Robarse is correct. It's not used in Spain but in AmL. More info here: DPD (quoted above) You could also have a look here: robar/robarse.

    Hope this helps. Saludos.

    Hola
Yo siempre utilizo "¿Quién robó los colores?".
He consultado el diccionario Panhispánico de Dudas y allí sí dice que en el español de América es frecuente utilizar el verbo robar + se.

    Un saludo
