Hello again,

Now I'm asking for help with another expression in the same Versailles tourist guide:

...le bureau des coches, situé dans l’actuelle rue Saint-Simon entre 1683 et 1734, était le point de départ des transports publics «à la suite de la cour».

Any ideas as to what it is trying to say?

    If I may be permitted to contribute to my own thread... I think it simply means "for anyone having business with the Court".

    Sound reasonable?
