    Hi,

"C'est à la propiétaire de la boutique, que l'on doit cet écrin dédié à l'enfance."

"We owe this écrin dédié à l'enfance to the store owner"

She sells children's clothes, but can't understand what is meant by "écrin"

    Any ideas?

    merci :)

This means that the place is so perfectly made to the childhood that it can be compared to a jewel case (the jewel is here the childhood).
