I have never heard 'seed the zucchinis' before. We say 'take out the seeds from the _______' or 'deseed the _________'.
Thank you very much GaroubetJ'ai revérifié dans deux livres de cuisine, l'expression "seed the zucchini" est largement utilisée, mais si on veut éviter toutes confusions, dire de-seed.
Wow. I have really never heard of using the word 'seed' that way. I was mistaken as I just learned that the word 'seed' is used to refer to taking out seeds. I learned something new! I think that 'take out the seeds' or 'remove the seeds' is probably more common, at least orally. Not sure though. That is just what I would say.
Il y a aussi ce fil : graine / pépinPépins et noyaux sont a retirer. Les graines sont non toxiques que ce soit dans la courge, citrouille, melon, courgette, potiron ... tout ce qui est de la famille des cucurbitacées.
