Hello,
Could someone tell me what 'être en chasse patate' in the Tour de France means please?
I think it might be riding/cycling/racing between 'les échappés' (the breakaway group) at the front and the peloton (the main pack of riders) at the back.
xxx est en chasse patate = xxx is trying to catch the leaders up / xxx is riding in isolation between the two groups
Does anyone have any suggestions how to translate this mixture of French and Spanish (potato hunt/hunting potatoes)?
