The sentence is from a cartoon in Romanian with subtitles in English. An inspector named Fix is talking to someone on the telephone. At the end of the dialog, if I am not mistaken, he says "Șeful?".

Aici Inspector Fix. Cu ce te pot ajuta? Ce! Royal Bank? ??Șeful?? ?

Inspector Fix here. How can I help you? What! Royal Bank! The (bank) locker?

Does Șeful mean The (bank) locker in Romanian? Or am I hearing it wrong? Because, as far as I know it means the boss.

It's actually "the boss" (şeful). You were probably thinking of "seiful" (safe).
