Πώς λέμε την ευχή στις ετοιμόγεννες στα αγγλικά; Με έναν πόνο;
The simple answer is we don't! And whatever you do, do not translate it literally!! No one would ever speak to you again if you did! We would consider this strange and shocking. We don't have a phrase for giving birth. The only thing you could say is "I wish you well with the baby". You could say "I hope everything goes well with the baby". I wouldn't as I always think it adds the possibility that it might not and therefore worry the mother to be.Πώς λέμε την ευχή στις ετοιμόγεννες στα αγγλικά; Με έναν πόνο;
Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ 🙌🙌Αυτή η σελίδα, η οποία διδάσκει τα Ελληνικά ως ξένη γλώσσα, παρέχει μια ευθεία μετάφραση, εμπλουτισμένη. Θα μπορούσατε, ενδεχομένως, να θέσετε την ερώτηση και στο αγγλικό forum (με κάποια επεξήγηση), όπου ίσως βρείτε μία η παραπάνω απαντήσεις που να σας ικανοποιούν.

Ι understand it is not customary to say such things in English. But would it really be a serious faux pas if you were to say "May you have a speedy delivery" or even "May the baby come out with one push"?The simple answer is we don't!
