Anybody who knows how to translate this (probably) idiomatic expression?

I wonder why το νερό is used in pluralis here?

If you search for νερά in the dictionary entry, you'll see that in Greek it is often used in the plural, perhaps more often than in English.

In Denmark we have an expression (translated to english): "He feels like a fish in the water" (= he feels good, in his comfort zone)

How strange language can be, Larshgf! In English the idiomatic version would be "I feel a bit like a fish out of water". We don't have a version with 'in the water'. (Presumably the original should be 'απ' τα νερά μου)
