Hi! I'm looking for the the english equivalent of the greek word "μονοκοντυλιά or μονοκονδυλιά", that is a picture drawn without raising the pen from the paper and without following the same trail twice (see here).
Can you help me? Thank you!

I don't think there is an English word for that. I guess we would just call it a picture drawn without raising the pen from the paper without following the same trail twice!

    Hi winegrower,

They are usually referred to as: "one-line", "single-line", "one-stroke" or "single-stroke" drawings.

Γεια. Το GWORDW το μεταφράζει ως "single stroke of pen". Το "με μια μονοκονδυλιά" ως "with one stroke of the pen".

This kind of sketch is called a "one stroke drawing" or a "scribble drawing." It's a process where the artist puts their pen on the paper and doesn't take it off until they are done drawing. The entire drawing is a single stroke, hence the name.
