Γεια σας, παιδιά!

I would like to know how you say "crown" in Greek, the ornament kings and queens put on their heads. As usual, there are several ways to say anything in Greek . In our dictionary I come across στέμμα and κορόνα. Is by chance στέμμα more formal than κορόνα? Ιs κορόνα more frequent than στέμμα? I have to pick one, and I can't decide (there's not even an article on Wikipedia about crowns , as a basis).

Ευχαριστώ εκ των προτέρων και να προσέχετε την εαυτούς σας. :)

Try, κορωνα ή γράμματα. You should get lots of useful results.
edit: I may have misread the question. I think you will find that Κορώνα is most common in the coin flipping context.
