Привет всем.

In my postiversary thread Cyanista wrote "Я поздравляю теба с юбилеем."
In elroy's postiversary thread I have just written "
Я поздравляю теба."

Is that ok? Or do I always have to add something with "c" to the verb "поздравлять"?

Спасибо. :)

    :D Yes, you're both right! It's like in English you don't always have to say 'congratulations' for something... You can just leave it as 'Congratulations!'
    Just like in russian: Поздравляю! - you don't even need the 'я' or the 'тебя'. :)

    First of all, it´s not obligatory to say "Я" since "поздравляю" only is possible with "Я". You can omit it if you wish.
    All these variants are OK: Я поздравляю тебя (с юбилеем);
    поздравляю тебя (с юбилеем),
    поздравляю с юбилеем or just поздравляю!!

    You don´t need to add the reason for the congratulation if it´s clear from the context (which is the case :))
