Hi everyone,

Does בעברית קוראים וכותבים עם ניקוד או בלי ניקוד means
In hebrew, you read and write with vowels or without vowels

I'm sure that's what it means so I want to ask: shouldn't it be בניקוד או בלי ניקוד
Because the correct preposition is ב here not עם. Because עם means in the company of, not by means of.

In this sentence, it obviously does not mean "by means of", so you cannot use ב. One does not write "by means" of nikkud. Nikkud is not a writing implement. One writes including nikkud. The letters are written together with nikkud.
