תודה רבה! אני חושב שאני מבין כרגע.
Natives correct me if I'm wrong, but this sounds a tiny bit strange:
כרגע is like "right now" "at this moment". I would have said עכשיו הבנתי.

    You're right. We use it for something that is happening right now or something that has just happened.

    maybe, but i think its correct, though i wouldve said הרגע and not כרגע.
    I assume you would have said הרגע הבנתי (something that has just happened), and not הרגע/כרגע אני מבין.

    Well yes, but as a student in a really difficult field (CS) i would totally accept כרגע אני מבין

    I think native speakers use כרגע in such sentences as כן, אני גר בירושלים, אבל אני בתל אביב כרגע.
    So, it seems to mean "at the moment" or "for the time being".
