My translation: Let me mourn myself and wail over it and pass the time by reminding (myself) and being sad. Stop criticizing me oh you who is criticizing me. If you knew what I was going through you would excuse me. Let me shed tears that do not stop. Is it possible for one of the tears to allow me to escape?

In two places the جواب الأمر is مرفوع rather than مجزوم. Is this grammatically correct?

  • It's correct because there is no implied condition. He is not saying If you leave me alone I will mourn. He is saying let me mourn

I think it means "if you leave me alone, I will mourn/shed tears", that is "Leave me alone so I can mourn/shed tears".
