In particular, why is منطرح mansoob?

My translation: It were as if I were between most people...on the bed while their hands were turning me over. And people who mourn me and cry over me and mourn me and call me have gathered around me. And they have brought a doctor so he may treat me and I do not see medicine benefiting me on this day.

  • I would say "among the [or an?] assembly of my kinfolk" instead of "between most people". Otherwise the meaning is correct.

منطرح is accusative because it is a حال.

If منطرح is accusative because it is a حال, what is the صاحب الحال???

But the rule is that only the subject (faa'il) or object (maf'ool bih) can be a صاحب الحال

Why would it be impossible for something that is semantically exactly like a subject (here the -ni) to be صاحب الحال?
