رجال الصحيح > خفيف الضبط > من تُردُّ روايته إذا تفرَّد

my most serious mistake is that I thought يُرَدُّ is active whereas in fact it is passive.

Additionally, ذلك can never mean "those."

notation: I understood by my prediction the "حال" word as "case." ,other words are recognizable.

Perhaps you're understanding is a product of not contextualising the words according to the subject matter and therefore your rendition is more lexically strung together and not contextually. It's not easy to semantically orientate words when you're not familiar with their subject landscape and the nuance of terminology.
