Hi, I am trying to translate this. It seems to be a law and is in the proper name brackets but I cant seem to find an official translation. Does anyone know if one exists? The full sentence is about spring festival and is this: 自1949年12月23日中国国务院颁布《全国年节及纪念日放假办法》以来, 春节为法定假日, 放假三天, 即农历正月初一等等.

There is a three-day holiday for spring festival (the New Year’s Eve of the lunar year,the New Year’s Day of the lunar year and second day of the first month of the lunar year), in accordance with the Decision of the State Council on the Regulation on Public Holidays for Nation Annual Festivals and Memorial Days on December 23, 1949.

I think it is the official translation.
May I ask that is it necessary to put bracket or quotation marks on the issued decree.

Sorry. The measures or regulations is emended for the third time in 2014. The three-day holiday for Spring Festival is from the New Year’s Day of the lunar year to the third day of the first month of the lunar year now.
