Hello!

How are you doing?

I saw this word in a vocabulary list: ずつ. I looked it up in the dictionary and searched example sentences, but I still don't understand how it's used.

It seems to be some kind of...partitive? The only thing I could understand well (I think) without an explanation is that 少しずつ means "little by little", but other uses still look obscure to me.

So, could you please explain to me how this word is used? Thanks in advance for your replies. Bye!
