Hi all!
I've been recently very busy, so I didn't show up that much.

This is my question. I was reading and I found this...

香りや音楽から、ふと思い出がよみがえることがある。私は仕事でよくインドネシアへ出かける。飛行機に着くと、“ちょうじ″という植物の甘い香料が入ったたばこの香りがする。

What does ちょうじ means? I know is some type of plant, but could you tell me what type of plant it is?

    According to this site and the one that Flam provided me, Clove is most cultivated in Indonesia, and sometimes is added to cigarettes (usually called "kreteks"), resulting 60% Tobacco and 40% Clove powder.

    Now the whole sentence makes sense to me...
