そう、あのあと十香がどうしても気になると言って辺りの様子を探っていたところ、いつの間にか学校の皆が移動を始めてしまっていたのである。
「む......すまん。だが本当に見られていた気がしたのだ」
十香が小走りしながら、すまなそうに言ってくる。士道はやれやれと息を吐いた。
「そりゃ、あんだけ騒いでりゃ見られるっての
「むう、そういうものか......」

Hi. What is the function of the red っての? If it is the same as というのだ, it doesn’t seem to be a exclamation marker or a rhetorical question.
Thank you.

っての or っつーの or っちゅうの is an abbreviation of って{言う or 言って(い)る}の.
    = I'm saying ~ (!)

士道 chose っての because he got annoied by 十香's behavior.
    というのだ doesn't fit here.

    Thank you, Yokozuna-san.
I previously thought っての was a feminine expression so it was a bit weird for 士道 to say it.

っての is originally derived from the eastern Japanese dialect, and it is now adopted into standard Japanese.
It is a very casual phrase and mostly used by men and spirited girls in standard Japanese.
