田中さんは長男の大学合格、長女の結婚おめでたいことずくめだ。
Does this to mean "such as"? (長男の大学合格、長女の結婚といったおめでたいことずくめだ, lots of lucky things happened to tanaka, such as ...) A shorten version of といった?

    Yes. You may think that way.
    Another option is that it's a shorten version of などと.

    If there is a difference, と can refer to the two things only.
    But といった、などと may indicate that there are more than two things. The two things are examples out of more than two.

    Therefore, you should know that と alone can make that sentence.
