I came across this in the anki deck 私達のクラスには中国人の学生もいればスペイン人の学生もいる。

The translation was In my class, there are Chinese students and there are Spanish students too.

Can someone give me a link to where it explains this usage of ba please? I have never heard of it not being conditional before.

I'll let you or others find a website, but I can tell you that this is just a normal construction: Xも{verb in えば form}、Yも{same verb in dictionary form}.

    Ex.
    赤いものもあれば白いのもある。
Some are red and others are white.
    長所もあれば短所もある。
There are [both] pros and cons.
    賛成論をする者もあれば反対論をする者もある。
There are those who are in favor [of it], and those against [it].
    忙しい時もあれば、忙しくないときもある。
There are times when I am busy, and times when I'm not.
