产生: make, produce
This sentence doesn't sound natural.
You should say:
I don't know why though...
产生 (derived from 产 and 生, both meaning "to give birth") = beget
引起 (derived from 引 "lead to" and 起 "arise") = cause
不同语言用法有时会引起同事间的误会 Differences in language uses may sometimes cause misunderstanding among the colleagues.
不同语言用法有时会产生同事间的误会 Differences in language uses may sometimes beget misunderstanding among the colleagues. (Just as "beget a baby between the parents" is weird, so is 产生同事间的误会, which is not commonly heard although native speakers may occasionally say it.)
令同事产生误会 "make the colleagues beget misunderstanding" ("make the parents beget a child" ).
Separate names with a comma.
