Could you please tell me how to say these sentences in English?
1) 他去过什么纽约，亚洲都还没有出去呢。
2）他读过什么红楼梦，字都不认识几个。

What New York did he went to? (Indicating that the "He" is talking nonsense), he hasn't even been to Asia yet.

What A Dream of Red Mansions did he read? He can't even understand many of its words.
