Hello everyone! :)

I have been confused over the text of this videogame called Mega Man Legends for about 15 years now, and would like some clarification.
In this scene, early in the game, the 3 crash land on an island in a floating ship, and the ship is badly damaged...
I can't find 'maemitaini' in any dictionary, and assume it means 'upon looking back', but even if it did mean that, then the sentence would be, "We've been pushing her so hard... Looking back, we should've kept her in better shape."

AFTER CRASHING FLUTTER AT CARDON FOREST:
Barrell: This looks pretty bad...

I don't think it'll be safe to set
foot in here for quite a while!

Roll: ...We've been pushing her so hard...
haven't been taking good enough care of her...

We'll just have to fix her up!

Barrell: Looks like the repairs aren't going to be finished anytime soon...
We'll be here for a while, I guess...

    We'll just have to fix her up like what she used to be!
    We'll have to fix her up just like before!

    前みたいに=like before
    前=before, what she used to be
