‎Hi. Why isn’t the underlined part 思っていては? Why is 思うていては used?

    Sounds like you're reading from a manga or something?
    I may be wrong, but many times they just use the words off the mouth of the character.
    Eg: おれんち=俺の家
    チチャい=小さい
    ゆってんの=言っているの

    for all you know it could really be 思っていては as you have mentioned.

    思うていては is a old fashioned way of 思っていては.
    We don't use 思うていては in modern conversation.

    The speaker in your example sounds full of dignity as if they came from a very old era.
