滅びのさらにその果てに

Dear Japanese forum,

a quick question about a grammatical doubt. This is from a monologue of the evil guy in a cartoon, proclaiming that death is salvation.

我らは滅びのさらにその果てに、安息と栄光を見出すしかない
(We have to find out the rest and glory that are beyond the limit of the extinction.)

Is "beyond the limit" ("even more far than") correct? The さらにその果てに structure confuses me a bit.

    我らは滅びのさらにその果てに、
    = 我らは滅びのさらにその先に、
    = 我らは滅びのさらにその先の最終(目的)地で、
    = 我らは滅びのさらにその先の天国で、

    果て=最後、最終的な先端、最終的な場所、最終目的地

    We have to find out the piece and glory in the final place (=Heaven) after we die.
