I'm reading this story 狼来了
Here is a sentence: 人们又被说谎的小男孩欺骗了。
As well as the end of the story: 他的许多羊都被狼吃了。

Does it make a difference in meaning if I don't use 被? If I say it the other way round: 小男孩的说谎欺骗了人们 / 狼吃了他的许多羊. Is the meaning different?

    狼吃了他的许多羊.:tick:小男孩的说谎欺骗了人们:cross: (说谎的小男孩can not be divided and it should be the subject)说谎的小男孩又欺骗了人们。
