Hola colegas, de unos comandos de software para impresión en empresas ¿en base 1? ¿basado en 1? Ni idea de cómo se suele decir.

Extracts the text value for the specified columnIndex, where columnIndex is the 1-based column index and rowOffset is the row index relative to the current position. To extract the current row, specify 0 as the rowOffset. The extractByIndex method always returns a String data type.

Parece que "1-based" se refiere a cómo se cuentan columnas y registros.
En este caso, según parece, se cuentan empezando en 1, y no en 0.
Así que yo traduciría como:
"Devuelve 'true' si el 'columnIndex' especificado, con base 1, existe en el registro actual, y 'false' de no ser así.
No he traducido "true", "false" ni "columnIndex" ya que parecen ser los valores y etiquetas precisos que usa el software.
Inserté comas adicionales a las usadas en el inglés para evitar ambigüedades.
