10 % of stably positive cells is a good transgenesis

    Hello,

    I wonder, after the "10%" should the verb be "is" or "are" ? My guess would be "are" but ....

    Yes, "are" sounds more natural.

    If the subject was a percentage of a whole, "is" would be best. As it's a percentage of a collection of things ("cells", in this case), "are" works much better.
