"2 to the power [of] 2 is 4"

Are there other options to express that ?

I know that " the square of 2 is 4 " is correct, right ?

But how about
" 2 square is 4" ?
I remember hearing something else except the first two, but I don't really remember how that was.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about ?

thanks in advance,
Roni.

It may just be a BE thing, but for small powers we often leave out the "power". Four to the third is 64, and such.
